Guess Who's Back?
Issue #25 | January 20th, 2026 | Zach Demoff, Rebecka Parrott

Greetings, my friend,
Welcome to The Arsenal, your bi-monthly resource for training and equipping you to live a set-apart lifestyle.
Well folks, it’s time for another life update, I owe ya one. If you opened this email, thank you for staying a faithful reader! And I apologize to all of you who were looking forward to new articles every couple of weeks. It’s been difficult trying to balance everything lately, but Yahweh has been showing me how! I hope you all have had a wonderful start to your new year (or better than mine at least, I was battling a nasty cold 😅).
So, where have I been since Sukkot you ask? A lot of big things have certainly taken place, and I can’t wait to give you the rundown! Let’s dive in:
#1: There was this girl…
You may remember me mentioning a long while back how The Father provided me with the most amazing young woman I was blessed to call my girlfriend. Her name’s Rebecka, and she lives in Indiana, owns her own real estate business, loves Yah, His Son, and the Word, holistic health and fitness, reading and writing, and Pride and Prejudice. She’s amazing, and truly a blessing to anyone she comes into contact with!
But after many months of thinking it through, I just couldn't help but think about the direction of our relationship…how it evolved, how we had changed since we had gotten together in October of 2024, and everything that we had done. And I just couldn't deny how I felt anymore. So in early November, I finally approached Becka and told her how I felt about our relationship, and she agreed with me. And so, we decided we’re no longer going to be boyfriend and girlfriend…
…because she’s going to be my WIFE!! ❤️❤️

On the chilly morning of Sunday, November 9th, 2025 in northern Indiana, Becka and her cousin Cora had a photoshoot planned at a small, scenic park in town near them, where Becka would model for Cora to help build her portfolio to showcase her photography skills. Or so Becka thought! It turns out that the photoshoot was a set-up put in place by Cora and I to create the perfect opportunity for me to propose to Becka. And we had been planning it that way for months 😏😂
After Cora took a couple photos of Becka to throw her off, she brought her closer to the spot where I planned to propose. And despite how much of a detective she is, and even though she suspected there could be a possibility of me proposing that morning, she still wasn’t expecting anything and was very surprised! After I said a few words of my admiration and adoration of her, I dropped to one knee, popped the question, and she said yes!! We’re getting married in June, and we couldn’t be happier. Yah is good, all the time ❤️ And Becka and I believe He’s going to do mighty things through us in the future!
#2: Established in the Hoosier State
With being engaged to Becka now, and with all of the wedding planning, new conversations, and exciting moments that come with the engagement phase, three weeks later I made another huge step as a 22-year old adult: moving to northern Indiana to be much closer to Becka and her family during our engagement phase!
I decided to do this because up to this point, Becka and I had been in a long-distance relationship, being 3 and a half hours apart and only seeing each other on the weekend every other week. Sometimes it’d be even longer between visits. We were both sick of it, and we were advised moving closer together while we were engaged would be a great idea, not just to emotionally acclimate to seeing each other more, but also to do more of real life together and to make wedding planning a bit easier. And we both strongly felt this would be beneficial for our relationship and that Yah’s hand was on it. Additionally, the area I’m now living in has way more and way better job opportunities to learn how to actually get good at the HVAC trade than rural, eastern Michigan where I was before, which is important for Becka and I’s financial future.
So about a week after I got engaged, I started packing up the room I had lived in for the past 11 years, and on November 23rd, me, my immediate family, and my grandparents’ vehicles packed with all my stuff all made the hike down to the new rental house I was moving into! Becka met us there and helped me move in as well. And by mid-afternoon after everything was unpacked, my new home had begun to take shape!
It was tough to say goodbye to my family members that day, knowing that they would be almost 4 hours away and I wouldn’t see them again for a couple weeks for a wedding dress shopping date with Becka. And it certainly felt weird (but so awesome!) thinking I have my own place! And enjoying being only 17 minutes from Becka and her family has definitely been such a priceless blessing.
But it hasn’t always been easy thus far: In addition to adjusting to living on my own and fully supporting myself for the first time, I had started a new, more-demanding HVAC technician role I got hired for down here, only to get laid off a month later due to company finances and bandwidth to train me being tight. I’ve also had to have my car repaired, which was a little pricey, I broke a rib on Thanksgiving day playing football (setting me back in the gym), and have endured a nasty cold over the turn of the year. I believe there’s also been some spiritual warfare going on with being on my own in a new environment. I’ve found it easier to fall back into a couple old, negative habits I thought I overcame, and it caused me fall into overthinking and be a weaker leader for myself and Becka.
But through it all, The Father has shown me just how faithful He is and how He has made and uses all for His purpose (Proverbs 16:4). My reliance on Yahweh and how powerful He is, the personal growth I’ve experienced from all the life changes, and the growth in Becka and I’s relationship with living close have all increased immensely through this past month, and it’s been such a blessing. I trust the Father to provide a new job, and as Becka and I’s wedding day gets closer and we continue to plan our new life together, I can have peace and joy in the fact that Yahweh never leaves us nor forsakes us (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5), and that all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
I look forward to giving all of you more life updates as they come!
#3: One more thing…
Hi everyone! This is Rebecka, Zach’s fiancée! We thought it might be a fun idea for me to hop on and introduce myself! I’m a whole-bible believer, or what some people might call Torah-pursuant. I love The Father, Yeshua, and His Word, and I believe they are the most life-giving things on this earth! As Zach mentioned before, I am very passionate about health and fitness. I love talking about how we can become our best selves through following Biblical truths, and practical ways to do that on a daily basis. Proverbs is one of my favorite books of the Bible; there is so much wisdom there, it’s actually mind-blowing. I also love writing and reading like he said, and I’m actually hoping to start my own newsletter with my best friend sometime soon!
Other fun facts about me: I’m 21, the oldest of five children, and the happy oldest of 20 cousins! I love and value family, and am excited to start my own with Zach in the future. I’m currently in college to attain my license as a physical therapist assistant, but my ultimate dream is to be a wife and mom. I’ve heard people say before that motherhood is amazing because instead of just picking one career, you get to do them all! A chef for your family, a teacher if you decide to homeschool, a nanny, a baker, an art teacher, interior designer, event coordinator, and whatever else you can think of! And on top of that, you get to raise adorable little children and teach them to love Yahweh! What’s not to love?
I also wanted to give you all a word of encouragement. I have been so blessed to be chosen by The Father as Zach’s future wife. I spent many years of prayer and waiting, hoping to find someone who met my standards, but wondering if I’d ever find the right one. It seemed like such a man did not exist, and if he did he was probably not for me. But God!! Zach truly is the man of my dreams, and I’m sure you all have come to see him as the God-fearing man I do. And if The Father can fulfill this desire of mine, He can (and will!) fulfill yours too! Whatever you desire, whether it’s marriage, a career, a family, or a church, The Father hears your prayers and knows your heart. He will not forget you! It can be so so hard to wait, especially for a promise The Father has already given us. But He is always faithful! Since getting together with Zach I have seen prayer after prayer answered in His time; did you catch that? In His time. He doesn’t work on our time schedule. And praise Yah for that, because His time is so much better! So if you’re in a season of waiting, hold fast! Your turn is just around the corner.
I’m so honored and blessed I got to meet all of you, and I think it very likely I may pop in again down the road. I hope you all have a wonderful week, and don’t forget; The Father has a wonderful plan for you! Blessings!!
2026 is going to be a big year, both in my personal life and for the growth of my ministry! Look forward to more emails from me on a bi-monthly schedule, video content to compliment my emails, and even some new projects in the works! I pray Yahweh has been good to you and that you’d hit all of your 2026 goals with the help of our Lord and Savior!
Be blessed.
